Mescaline Barrett
By the waters of Ganges

Designs/Paintings by Renowned artist Samij Datta - inspired by the works of Pink Floyd

By the waters of Ganges

By the waters of Ganges

Friendship is a wealth that is often misunderstood. The sense of belonging and attachment brings in fear of desolation. We scatter; we disappear; we follow the suite of our pride. Each in his own way learns to walk, swim, eat and urinate. Companionship is far beyond the biological circumference of existence. In our modern society friendship is rarity because as Emerson has said “the only way to have a friend is to be one”.
- Joy Roy Choudhury

With inspiration from:-

Wish You Were Here: “How I wish, how I wish you were here/We are just two lost souls/Swimming in a fish bowl/Year after year/Running over the same old ground/What have we found?/The same old fears/Wish you were here. (Waters, Gilmour/Pink Floyd/Album: Wish You Were Here, 1975)

Fusion - the very word evokes the marriage of extremes; the past and the present, the sciences and the arts, the intellectual and the spiritual. ArtVantage celebrates the fusion of great cultural streams such as here with the forging of links between the visual arts and music - to help define the culture of the future.
