The Tribes of Clay

Purple sunbirds and parakeet
Nestle among the tribes
Peacock feathers fan
Old man and his clan
At sun down the monk
Fed his horse, dry grasses and hay
His robe was scattering saffron
With patches of earthen clay
If you are thirsty drink from my bowl
Carry the Spirit deep into your soul
In the quiet of moonlight, the fire was lit
And all furry animals were grooving with a pict.
