In the Cold of the Fire Stone

The rubric of opposites like fire/water;light/dark;good/bad etc. are always assimilated in the mind to create sense of fear and of loss. The natural conjunction of these binary elements in nature always exists but we are not conscious of such harmony. When the mind gathers itself beyond the opposites, “to see all creatures in himself, himself in all creatures”- there is no sorrow, no fear. (Eesha-Upanishad). It is like fearlessly trascending the traditional structures of morality into a newer realm which Nietzsche talks about in Beyond Good and Evil (1886). In this new heaven, the “free spirit” of Nietzsche is the chief protagonist who will now say “do not waste light; gather light; let me see that blessed body-Lord of all. I myself am He”. (Eesha-Upanishad)
