ArtVantage celebrated the 40th Anniversary of Pink Floyd’s debut album The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn by organizing an Art exhibition in November 2007 in London, UK. The exhibition brought out the swinging mood of the ’60s, it’s culture, music, art and literature. It provided a forum to celebrate the anniversary and for the exchange of ideas, thoughts and knowledge commemorating this important milestone in the history of rock music. The key areas of this event evolved around:
The history of The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn (1967) - From Concept to Recording Studio
The sound of Pink Floyd in the early years.
Defining the Psychedelic ’67: “To Make This Trivial World Sublime/Take Half A Gram of Phanerothyme”(Aldous Huxley to Dr Humphry Osmond)- How Music/Art/Film etc. defined the way people lead their lives.

Fusion - the very word evokes the marriage of extremes; the past and the present, the sciences and the arts, the intellectual and the spiritual. ArtVantage celebrates the fusion of great cultural streams such as here with the forging of links between the visual arts and music - to help define the culture of the future.
